Where the hell is my Lord Of Terror????

Just played a fail pub and when I died noticed that my beloved Lord Of Terror was nowhere to be seen. I had some damn Odin instead.

What the hell gives?? I just read the changelog and noticed the change there. Why the hell was this done? Is it some animation thing? Was LOT buggy? If so, I never noticed.

I credit-grinded to 5000 to purchase a Lord Of Terror. A Lord Of Terror, Diablo, awesomesauce, not some poxy Odin. I can find NO post with ANY warning whatsoever about this change. Given this was a 5000 credit purchase which is not just some throwaway spending like say 250 credits for a stinger, I find this change without any consultation/warning of the greater community, disappointing and very poor form.

Could someone please shed some light on this for me as I feel like 5000 credits are now wasted. Thanks.

Don't worry, at least mini-Odin look...'manly' and 'intimidating'. LAWL

Would you guys prefer if it was replaced with Archon? It looks good IMO.

Archon would be better. What would be cooler is if the Archon could change color too as it levels up.

Agreed as Odin look awkward, more awkward than Tauren, when using melee attack. Archon would probably fit in melee with their tendency to raise one hand up and BS enemy's face.

And we could have it shield based to make it more... unique!

Question: Would it be strange having a non-biological/non-mechanical pet?

As it stands all the pets are either one or the other. Bio pets are supposed to have their innate strengths/weaknesses like higher HP stats but susceptibility to Ailments, while Mech pets are immune to ailments and can benefit from Tech Aura. Where would the Archon fit in?

I thought bio pets were immune to ailments now?

If archon could have a type, it would probably be biological rather than mechanical, so you could probably get away with making it bio.

Always the possibility that it could be a third type. Or at least it's an option since...

The Archon is a mass of incandescent gas, it's a giant psionic furnace!

    Ah, nerd reference over.

I dunno. Maybe they "fixed" biological getting ailments. Though I seem to recall The Man saying that was intentional and everyone bitching about it anyway. I thought it was an interesting trade off since the Bio Pets tended to have the best HP growth, best HP Regen, and best (If any) HP Regen Delay.

IIRC bio have more hp regen but Mechs have better energy or shields
    Mech benefit from Tech aura

Bio are immune since quite a while. Except to Chem's venom.

Bio pets can still get Black Dog and Trollpoptosis OW as well.
