All things off topic. There was an issue with the last one.

Finally, all of Nite's reputation is gone. The world is finally at equilibrium again.

The peace will not last. War is upon you, whether you risk it or not.

Two types of people, those who are prepared for the coming storm, and those who wish the storm will never come.

    Then suddenly, Snowmegeddon!

What I'd give for another one of those! it's always funny to see all the Seattle people "dying" in the "cold weather" and the "horrific destruction of roads" that "always" happens.

Made worse by National News Coverage.

Watched a spot on CNN. They were talking about how horrific the snow was in Seattle and how dangerous it was... then they measured the snowfall on camera and it was only 4 inches.

    *facepalm*

Trololol, this year wasn't even the worst. If you remember in 2008, the absolutely crazy amount of snow (8 1/2 inches at my house) we got, and that stuck around for 2-3 weeks, which is the longest I have ever seen snow not melt in my area. Or the western part of my state in general.

Wasn't as bad as The Week of Ice. Living in Beaverton, OR at the time. Had so much freezing rain dropping that everything shut down and I had a solid 5 inches of ice on my sidewalk. No snow. No frost or slush or anything. Just solid ice.

... I grabbed my sled and set a new record for myself that week. Went from Murray Hill in Beaverton down to Washington Square Mall on one shot. Which is a good 8 miles or so. No one driving, no one gritting or anything. It was smooth as glass. Barely made the one big turn at the bottom of Murray Hill.

I keep hoping we get another week like that sometime so I can try something similar over here.

I dislike the limit to +reps you can give in a day. I keep remembering people I gave +rep to on the other forum and why they should have it and then being unable to give it. :(

I am so jealous of you all... I'm stuck in Florida, where my allergies to pollen have been flaring up terribly. I wish I lived somewhere colder, for I haven't seen natural Snow / Ice for about 4 years where I live, though I had the pleasure of seeing Snow on the top of a Mountain I hiked in New Mexico in July :D .

Yeah. Florida, not exactly what I consider ideal. Sure the High Desert here is mostly terrible as well... but at least there isn't somewhat regularly scheduled stuff coming to kill me... Unless you count all the dogs that people let roam free and undisciplined. Dog Owners, not closing their gates or chaining up their dogs. Letting them roam the streets wild, packed together with all the other dogs no one chains up. Serious problem over here. Hard to get anyone to deal with it though because people tend to love dogs right up to the moment when the dog is sinking their teeth into their throat.

My neighbor used to let there dog kind of roam free. He would stay in our neighborhood, and the worst thing he would do is (he was a jet black German Sheppard) bump into you at night and scare you (especially my mom, he did it to me a few times) straight out of your skin. Nicest dog I have ever known, his name was Boris. He ate my diapers.

I'm more of a cat person myself. I look low-maintenance pets that aren't a public disturbance. Besides, I'm somewhat allergic to dogs :/ .

Its terrible being a freshman with nothing to do. Homework is actually the highlight of my day, whether it takes 6 minutes or 6 hours.

I'll just go to sleep, 2 tests tomorrow that I haven't studied for.
