In our infinite boredom (and debatable stupidity), Clan UniT has devised a new game mode: SUPER SURVIVAL The Objective The object of Super Survival is to survive as long as you possibly can. You (or your team) will claim an area and hold out for as long as you are able until you are overrun. The Players: Despite being allied together, you are not on the same side as the other players. It is time for you to hate each other. Split the players evenly - everyone on their own, four teams of two, two teams of four, two teams of three in the event of a non-full lobby. It doesn't matter how the split goes, as long as the teams are even. Attempting to help the other players is actively contributing to your own failure. You can do it, but I wouldn't suggest it if you want to win. The Sectors: As of now, there are ten sectors to choose from. Comms Tower Including above and below the tower itself. It extends eastward out to Lag Forest, and southward until Hades' corpse. Pros: Includes possible Ogilvy/Ivan Lag Forest Includes the forest itself and the eastern area up to the bridge. Pros: Nice, wide open spaces. Fort Includes the area west of fort up to the bridge, and south of fort where the Hephaestus holding chamber is. Pros: It's fort, and therefore susceptible to pathing screw. Armory Only includes Armory and the small surrounding area. Pros: Access to an Ivan/Ogilvy hex, susceptible to pathing screw. Airlock The ENTIRE airlock, including Helipad. Pros: Lots of gates and early levels with the eggs. Also, a Shotgun in the Helipad. Infestor Alley The entire middle area of the map, including the northern and southern open areas. Pros: A nice platform in the middle and two relatively wide escape routes. Apollo The entirety of Apollo. Domes, Lab, southern/scrap. Pros: Lots of space to move around in, surrounded by walls. Scrapyard and Mines The mining area and scrapyard. Pros: The most space with equipment in the Scrapyard. Easy Company Hill Includes Easy Company spawn and some of the surrounding area. Pros: Ivan/Ogilvy hex access Mining Co The general area of Mining Co. Pros: Susceptible to pathing screw, has an area that has a "back door" that can be used by breaking the rocks on the platform Military Base/Alpha Co The lower left area of the map, including the road leading up to airlock. Pros: Lots of space, potential for a backdoor with the rocks near the Prisoner area Sector Rules 1. Do not abandon your sector. Abandonment of a sector constitutes leaving it undefended. 2. Do not take items from other sectors. This includes hard-spawn items (the Marksman rifle from Scrapyard, the Shotgun from Airlock, ect) 3. If you are passing through a sector, do not kill anything from that sector. This includes the eggs in airlock. Raiding other sectors Note: This is not allowed in games without teams, as leaving a sector in an independent game to go screw over another one results in abandonment. Raiding other sectors as harassment is allowed. Raiding is defined as breaking rocks, opening doors, and otherwise being a pest. However, rules 2 and 3 still apply, so no stealing gear or kills. Bosses Bosses will spawn, and end up raping someone. That's the nature of Super Survival. Unless you band together and kill them off, they're going to end up overtaking a sector without fanfare or effort. However, the flip side to this is that if you let them run rampant and fuck up the other players, then you're furthering your own goal of winning. Eilythia is almost guaranteed to turn into Eos and start hunting down players, and that may end up being you. Just keep in mind that Super Survival is a wrathful and fickle mistress, and trying to fuck over the other players can end up getting you fucked over instead. Keep in mind that you are not allowed to leave a sector undefended, so if you go boss hunting, you have to leave your partner to fend for themselves. Boss hunting is the only exception to the rule of "don't kill anything outside of your sector".
