Can I move my bank from the NA server to the other servers or is that "hacking?"

Extifer Stiffy is what Lyanden calls me.

That's fine you can do that. Many sea players do that and EU as well. Its not cheating.

on that note...how would one go about transering the banks...just pop them into the EU/SEA account folder?

Documents > StarCraftII > Accounts > [Your Account Number] > You will find a list of 4 different folders representing the different servers.

    E. g. NA is 1-SC-1-1234567
    and SEA is 6-SC-1-1234567

Just go into the banks folder, figure out which one is the NOTD folder, copy the 2 files you find inside it and paste them in the other region's NOTD folder. (You may have to download NOTD first in that region on SC2 in order for the NOTD folder to appear in that region's banks folder)

    Hope that helps ^-^

Inside the account folder (there are one for each region), there are a number of folders each representing bank used for each map, assuming the folder codes are the same for everybody, the folder to place bank files in for NOTD are:

    NA - 1-S2-1-1557547
    EU - 2-S2-1-1535419
    SEA - 6-S2-1-122389

If you're still having the problem, try TextMate.

About transferring bank, do you replace bank in EU NOTD folder with bank from NA NOTD folder? Or just dump them in there?
    NA, copy bank and backupbank?
go to EU, find notd folder, paste both files from na? Replace EU backupbank with NA backupbank?

Go to EU, make a game by yourself, type -s, leave.
You now have a EU bank folder. Make a shortcut to it on your desktop. Make a shortcut to your NA bank folder on your desktop as well. Delete the thing in the EU folder (it's a 0 xp bank), and drag the 2 files from the NA folder to the EU folder.
You can now play on EU.
When you want to go back, move the files back.

For all other lazy guys, a macro that automatically updates your bankfiles to the newest and creates a backup (only 1 per day you do it again it gets overwritten)

Just correct the path to your bank files and if wanted to where you want your backup and save it in a .cmd file

Hi LitleJunior, which text editor are you using? Try getting TextMate or Smultron.

I was able to do it with TextMate after having similar issues.

Use text edit. You don't need third party software.
    Copy and paste the code,
    Save...
Click Rich text document and select word 2003.
    Click save.
    That should do it.
If it doesn't work reopen the regions.xml document.
    Cmd+A, delete everything selected.
Copy and paste the code again and save.
It works and is confirmed with the latest lion+mountain lion OS.
