Introducing the NOTD Boot Camp Program! Hello, My name is Daedalus (in game Deadalus) I'm one of the new Teamspeak 3 Moderators. I also have been working on developing a fun, user-friendly, target focused NOTD Boot Camp Program - BE THE CHANGE! Boot Camp 101: From Green to Killing Machine. I wish to give back to this community for both the positive and negative I've personally experienced. LilMissHumpz, Niteshade, Blaqk, VickHead and Extifer are also the best people to speak to about this and will be able to assist when I'm offline. I am aware there have been past programs and members of the community who have not had a positive first impression of the game. I believe it is safe to say NOTD does have a high learning aptitude and when new players join a pub and get their face eaten within the first 5 mins, its frustrating and often turns people off from further attempts to learn how to play. It's also a numbers game where not everyone will be COACH-ABLE and take the time to learn. We need to change the so called stigma of "elitism" and show there are those willing to offer their time to teach all types of new players. When I first found this game, I was fortunate enough to meet a player who was patient, knowledgeable and willing to offer his time tohelp me learn this great co-operative zombies survival game. I was horrible, died a lot...but I stuck with it and wanted to get better no matter how long it took. (Thanks Meatfish xo) Utilizing TeamSpeak I see this time just prior to NOTD2 release as a great opportunity to really grow and maintain a new generation of community members by getting them off on the right foot as early as possible. Learning good in game habits, being COACHABLE, and willing to take honest constructive criticism in a non-verbal abusive environment. If we can use the resources available to us like Teamspeak 3, we will be able to establish a place where a broad spectrum of newbie players and skill levels can progress as they gain more familiarity with the in-game basic tactics, including, how to knife, sprint, equip weapons, ammo and coping with the fast paced story line. Class Specialists List Lastly I would like to extend an invitation to people who are great role-models, patient, knowledgeable and willing to help sustain and grow our overall membership.
