NOTD 2 - Mech Unit Preview

    The long promised NOTD 2 Terrain preview is here~ Along with a mini-game Kith asked me to add, see if you can find Otis in these pics (I may have made it abit hard to find on certain locations but meh, its just a bonus :D)

    The Military Base, the only one on Eden, has it's own armory (That looks like one), original terrain by Kith, tweaked by me.

    The Construction Area, this is where they drill the Mar's landscape to make more room for Eden.

    The Park, large area for people to gather, walks around, shopping and fighting incredibly strong enemies.

    The Main Town area, the top part is a casino for people who aims to be dark knights.

    Hmm looks like the lightning made finding the murloc and the infested rine abit way too hard to notice, maybe I should upload the standard lightning version later if people can't find them for real XD.

    But goddamn, beautiful map that we can look forward to on the next game. SCII scenery porn anyone?

    Though my low graphics won't be able to experience it...

    not sure if he's in each picture or they vary, nor if theres one in every picture. what i found so far: think i got all of em now :D

    picture 1:
    behind the speakerpost between the houses

    picture 2:
    bottom middle behind the two miningcarts

    picture 3:
    next to a the left tree in the right batch

    picture 4:
    isnt he between the two buildings/ towers to the left?

    picture 5:
    top middle next to the boxes, thats either a dead rine or a murloc
    (i can see dahaka in top left on a wall)

    picture 6:
    in the bottom lab room. you even got him selected you cna see the green circle around him

    picture 7:
    in the cow section most right

    picture 8:
    bottom left on a lower catwalk; looks more like its the background of the picture :D

    picture 10:
    bottom right on the dark high ground

    Well technically save for the last 2, all of the pics have them, but the pic resolution is making a joke of it, not sure how to fix that, it's alot clearer in the editor preview.

    Eyegasm!!!!! lab corridors looks really "tight" to fight banes. The park is a good sightseeing spot as well. Is the map bigger or same size like NOTD ?

    You sure have a very good eyesight.

    Fantastic work so far. Also, the problem is that the pictures are saved as jpgs - if they were saved as PNGs, they wouldn't lose resolution.

    Hope that you guys can make it brighter in game. These pics appear to be quite dark there.

    The darkness is intended, player needs to utilize flashlights and other sources to see paths.

    It is intentionally dark, but the final product will be a little bit lighter. Teams will have an optional mission to power up Eden's generator and turn the lights back on, making the city much more navigable.

    How would this look for people with low graphics settings (eg. me). I'm pretty sure one of the settings disables ambient lighting.

    I don;t know why but they remind me of TRON Legacy

    Also Some suggestions for the names of these units in order from top to bottom:

    Strider (or bishop as you mentioned)

    Enforcer

    Fury (after the mythological furies which reside in the underworld)

    Poltergeist or Havoc (don't want o say Banshee)

    and lastly the Gigantes (for the thor)

    Names have already been decided by Kith for every unit that will be used.
