    Assault

    Tanksalt is more or less the same, but Cohesion got some new stuff. I'll do ability visual stuff later tonight.

    Ability Range: 3 radius area centered on the Assault

    Talent Description:
    The Assault takes 25% less damage while Taunt is active.
    Effect:

    Talent Name: Iron Lung
    Talent Description:
    Increases Taunt's duration by 50%.
    Effect:
    Duration increased from 6 to 9.

    Talent Name: Tactical Shouting
    Talent Description:
    Increases Taunt's area of effect by 50%.
    Effect:
    Area of effect radius from 3 to 4.5.


    Ability Name: Cohesion
    Ability Button Description:
    Blocks the application of Ailments for 8 seconds.
    Ability Cost: 30 Energy
    Ability Cooldown: 20 Seconds
    Ability Filters: Self
    Effect:
    See Button Description.
    Transient: Yes
    Hotkey: W

    Talent Name: Willpower
    Talent Description:
    Cohesion also suppresses currently applied Ailments while active.
    Effect:
    "Suppression" meaning that, while they're not cured, they don't actually do anything.

    Talent Name: Return To Sender
    Talent Description:
    If an attack would apply an Ailment while Cohesion is active, it is applied to the enemy instead.
    Effect:
    See Description.

    Talent Name: Nice Try, Idiot
    Talent Description:
    If an attack would apply an Ailment while Cohesion is active, its duration is increased by 1 second.
    Effect:
    See Description. Boost has no cap.


    Ability Name: Charge
    Ability Button Description:
    Quickly dash to a location, dealing 50 damage to enemies on the way.
    Ability Cost: 20 Energy
    Ability Cooldown: 8 Seconds
    Ability Filters: Ground, Air
    Ability Range: 6
    Effect:
    See Button Description. Jack the Nova Covert Ops' Monofilament Blade Dash thing.

    Reduces Charge's cooldown by 25%.
    Effect:
    Cooldown from 8 seconds to 6 seconds.

    Talent Name: Into The Fray
    Talent Description:
    Increases Charge's range by 50%.
    Effect:
    Ability range from 6 to 9.


    Ability Name: Defensive Plating [Passive]
    Ability Button Description:
    The Assault is permanently Armored, reducing damage taken from enemy attacks by 30% or more.
    Effect:
    See Description. Does nothing, is just a stat justification.

    Talent Name: Parry
    Talent Description:
    Gain 10% Damage Reduction when equipped with a Melee Weapon.
    Effect:
    See Description.

    Talent Name: Pretty Big Guy
    Talent Description:
    Increases Maximum Health by 30.
    Effect:
    See Description.

    Talent Name: Walk It Off
    Talent Description:
    Increases Health Regeneration by 50%.
    Effect:
    Increases Health Regeneration by 0.375.


    ULTIMATES
    Ability Name:
    Safeguard [Passive]
    Ability Description:
    Reduces the amount of damage that the Assault takes from attacks by 1 for 5 seconds every time they are attacked. This can stack up to 5 times.

    Effect:

    Visuals:
    On Activation: DragoonForceShield.m3, attached to Assault's Center. Effect should be tinted Blue: 15 Green: 90 Red: 255.


    Ability Name: Elbow Room
    Ability Description:
    Pushes back all enemy units within a 5 radius for up to 3 seconds.

    “Sometimes, you just need a little personal space.”
    Ability Button Description:
    Push back all enemy units within a 5 radius for up to 3 seconds. This ability is a channel and can be canceled early.
    Ability Cost: 50 Energy
    Ability Cooldown: 40 Seconds
    Ability Filters: Ground, Air (NOT Structure)
    Effect:
    See Button Description. The push effect for the ability should expand to 5 radius over 1 second, and then remain there for the following 2 seconds. The ability is channeled and can be canceled early.
    Visuals:
    Push radius indicator: Void_Thrasher_AOECursor.m3, tinted Blue: 25 Green: 175 Red: 255.

    Works the same way that it works on everything. I figure it being player-generated and centered on the Assault means it's not abusable like Sonic Traps are.

    Huh. Five second god mode, eh? There's a LOT that can be done in a taunt and pushback for five seconds. Can I request the VALHALLA, I'M COMIIIIIING soundset for charge, like in ye olden days?

    Yeah, I'd have clearer data on how well it's working, but not a whole lot of folks around to test. So.

    Nope! Assault uses the Tychus soundset, not Viking.

    Accurately gauging how effective completely disabling a boss for 5 seconds is difficult when you're unable to actually see what the effects of a team's worth of DPS pouring onto it does.

    Both have nordic-themed lines. Viking is definitely Valhalla, Thor is screaming about hammers and Ragnarok.

    CHANGELOG
    • Stats adjusted.
    • Taunt radius reduced from 5 to 3.
    • Charge's damage reduced to 50.
    • Mayhem charge duration reduced from 1 to 0.5.
    • Defensive Plating adjusted to comply with the new Armored system.
    • Safeguard adjusted to comply with the new Armored system. Now gives flat damage blocking per stack.
    • Elbow Room maximum duration reduced from 5 seconds to 3 seconds and cost increased to 50 Energy.

    Armor Up (gain a permanent 10% Damage Reduction) was changed to Parry (gain 10% Damage Reduction when wielding a melee weapon).
