So the terran shredder and protoss replicant have been removed. :(

The two fun units, IMO, are now gone.

A moment's silence to remember what could have been awesome units.

They were being used to cheese hard. The shredder was supposed to be anti rush, but instead, if you rushed with it and could hit your enemies workers, he's fucked. Now they have aoe death that they cant actually hurt on top of their minerals, but mostly their workers are all fucked.

Knowing Blizzard, they'll just leave them in the editor for shits and giggles.

Viper is ridiculously op right now. It has a skill that can regen mana by feasting on any mineral patch. Amongst other things like a blinding cloud, tentacle rape etc.

    Rage.

You could just make your own animations, no need to wait for blizzard to make it for you.

its the same thing what peera did for his gunner sweep spell. Only he just needs to create the effect to last from start to finish.

u guys don't think about the burrowed moving banelings??? they will kill your workers/base :D

Baneling tunneling claws is hive tech iirc. By the time zerg gets Hive tech, he's thinking less "banelings, banelings are good" and more "Lets just end this game with mass Broodlords."

Also, RIP Shredder. I'll miss wiping out 3 mineral lines with an investment of 2 medivac and 3 150/150 units. T_T

Yeah that's Hive tech. If you have a problem with tunneling enemies late game then you don't deserve to win, anyway.

You can do a 12 minute hive rush and make tunneling banelings in the mid game. ^_^ Although obviously you'd probably die if the enemy does something like...pressure you lightly.

Yeah, the only way you're going to pull stuff like that off is if your opponent is going to get stomped anyway. May as well have fun with it.

Banelings will always be defensive units to me. Even used in an offensive strategy like what I used against the Insane AI comp, I still used a defensive tactic.

Banelings ARE defensive in my strategy,
    1. Rush zerglings/upgrade em
    2. Wait for team (if any allies)
    3. CHARGE!!!!!!
    4. If rush fails start teching up
    5. Mass banes by ramp for defense (burrow)
    6. Tech for ultras if they attack BOMBS AWAY!!!!
    7. If they attacked make more banes if not mass ultras
    8. Team usually has strongest units by now
    9. CHARGE!!!!

But I play Protoss more then zerg, I have more of a offensive strategy while playing Protoss

Meh hopefully, shredder and what-it-call-copycat-protoss-thing still be in editor. Same thing with Warhounds, in case they get removed.

Funny, most of the reason I'm excited for Heart of the Swarm is for Custom Games. I'm excited for Warhounds so we can replace the Viking base model of the Technician, and I'm excited for Baneling Tunneling Claws because Bunker Wars will allow me to use them to be a complete bastard.

I'm excited for the Blizzard DOTA models. I look forward to Arthas, Baal, and Deathwing.

StarCraft 2 models in-game give zero shits about scale. A Battlecruiser is smaller than a Thor in-game, yet they can transport dozens of them in reality.

Don't allow your eyes to deceive you.

    Don't see; feel!
