The hotkeys are set and ok.
But sometimes the game will just crash.
Is this because my pc lacks the memory, or is it a graphics card crash?

Really no good with a pc, so someone please enlighten me on this.. thank you.

crash as in the game stoppes working and your send to the desktop with a error message?
Then you can check the error message, if its not enough ram it will say so.

I'd be interested to know how much RAM NOTD uses, on average. I used to have the odd random crash with 4GB, but haven't had one since upgrading to 8GB, and now 16GB.

i can play notd with 2gb on lowest settings but have to restart sc2 after some games because it will take more and more untill it will eventually crash.

4gb n its fine. I crash maybe once after a restart its all good. It only uses 2.4gb of mem for i.

This is vexing. I tried a few games until it crashed, and the pc does not indicate why it crashed. The most likely possibilities i can think of are

    1. RAM usage
    2. Graphic cards crash

Being a backwater native when it comes to IT or computers, I'll try to followup on this.

Not enough cooling or incompatible drivers could also be a cause.

without any information except, it crashes, everything could be a cause.

Could just be your OS is corrupted ;O

Seems like a drivers problem for me.

Last check it crashed there was this OpenGL error of sorts.

So far the game hasn't crashed while playing NOTD when i set the graphics to High instead of Ultra/Extreme. While update if it does again.

I used to have this error: "Starcraft 2 has encountered an unexpected DirectX/OpenGL error. This may indicate an issue with an out-of-date videocard driver".

I have a GTX 460 and fixed it by downgrading my vga driver to the version 306.97 (latest gtx 460 driver supported by blizzard https://sea.battle.net/support/en/artic ... ortedvideo)
