That was fixed when tl was removed
X>Q is pretty much useless during vets / nm bcoz of fogs
No. i dont support kith's suggestion. It shows location of ur teammates in certain close distance already regardless of fog of war. And this is how suppose to be done in first place. I don't even know why -tl command was exist there when there was X+Q (which seems more legit).
-tl command should've removed from NOTD long long time ago, and (bit late but) its done. Fair enough.
If that so, i suggest reduce the energy usage for X>Q
is either this or, or my previous post
And why should it be exactly like you say?
2 energy is nothing - why can't you spare that
Unless, like stated before, you have short circuit.
Have short ciruit and get attacked and need help means you are ramboing. Bad.
There's still that nice ping button (costs nothing) and the pause button (again, free of charge).
There's also vent.
Not like people are going to have many/any troubles with that.
So you have short circuit and can't afford 2 energy - well I don't see anyone complaining they can't use <Insert Skill Here> because they got short circuit.
Unless u are asstank and with tanking u spam taunt and get sc from tanking and lose energy from spamming taunt.
This thread implies you can't attach an energy cost to a text command.
This not the case.
Pretty sure you can.
Trigger: -tl is typed
If player energy >= 2, then, activate X-Q's trigger, else, nothing is done.
Pretty sure triggers can take care of it; and I'm very the Galaxy editor allows for something along those lines.
it is just to make things even out.
and its just my 2 cents
anyway it shouldnt matter much on the overall gameplay for now
If you are tanking, then you should be with the rest of the team, and one of them can use the x>q.
Actually the only thing I ever tend to have energy issues with is the SurvCon. Between Flare all the Things and LD all the Things I am usually flirting on a tight energy curve aiming for a zero sum.
Though the 2 energy for a Team Locator still doesn't hurt me. Does remind me however... it would be nice if Marines who are near my Reaper, but not necessarily near my Recon, were revealed by the team locator.
