Campagin files in Bank Folder?

    So... I was just randomly browsing my cache files for NotD (actually I was backing up before I tried to go trolling some solo survs and stuff) when I noticed that there were about 500 files in the folder. Looking at some of the variable names in it, it looks like a lot of it is from the campaign or something.

    That is for when you play story mode.

    I.e. Wings of Liberty Single Player Campaign.

    Your Progress in single player campaign is stored in bank files.

    Its not supposed to be in the same folder.

    You have your player handle.

    Inside of it are folders that contain specific bank files for specific games. Your single player data is just left inside of your player handle folder, and isn't tiered in any further folders because that's just what blizzard felt like doing.

    Err, you must have moved them into the notd folder.

    They usually are outside in just the player handle folder.

    I did absolutely no editing of this folder. I haven't even copied my backups back into it once yet...

    actually that happened to me aswell. i assumed i somehow drag-copied them there and deleted them. nothing happened so go ahead and delete em.

    Yea this happened to me too.
    I even deleted it all except notdBank5 and the backup but it comes back after i play some games.

    I don't even know where to find the campaign files (never really looked)... They definitely magically appeared...

    This is possibly occurring because I was tampering with the gameplay data, one of the variables controls the banks for the campaign. It may be interpreting that the notD map is requesting to load all banks for campaign in preparation to use them, the game thinks the campaign is about to be loaded. I'll see about undoing it, mostly my fiddingly with stuff that is entirely undocumented.
