I am currently in Tokyo. Can anybody suggest any good shops/places to see in Akihabara regarding anime?

Can't recommend anything in Akihabara for the most part as its primarily Electric / Technology goods and Anime/Manga goods, coupled with the fact that I haven't been to Japan since last summer, and I didn't care to remember any particular shop names.

You'll probably be better off wandering around and looking at things. Last I recall, they had a currency exchange near the train station, though I don't know how good / reliable / cheap it is.

Or just refer to http://wikitravel.org/en/Tokyo/Akihabara. Because it's actually going to be useful.

No worries Humpz, that's probably going to be pretty easy. I was at Tokyo Disney for most of the day today and was pretty much going around the park with a stunning young woman dressed as Alice In Wonderland ;-) Tomorrow morning is going to be spent in Akihabara.

I can't wait to see pictures of your adventures Kenno ^-^

Anyways, so there's this guy right hahaha and he's told me his favourite anime is Gundan 00, I've never had the pleasure of watching it before, it kinda looks like Code Geass tho. Is that accurate?

Comparing gundam to code geass won't really cut it, while both try to have a feel of 'reforming the world' done by cast, gundam is more of a pewpew lazors pewpew big robots type.
It is worth a check, you can always drop it after few episodes if it's not to your liking.

The Japanese Railroad is going to be your (very best) friend for traveling in Japan.

http://www.jreast.co.jp/e/nex/index.html (Narita Express Line Information; You can reach Tokyo using it)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keihin-Tōhoku_Line (The Keihin Tohoku Line; Take it from Tokyo to Reach Akihabara)

You should easily be able to navigate the JREast Website; it comes in English or Japanese.

As far as navigating the stations goes... Here are a few links to their Station Maps:

    http://www.jreast.co.jp/e/stations/e1130.html Narita Airport Terminal 1
